A New Type of Picture Day
School picture day doesn’t have to feel stiff or posed. My approach is relaxed and student-centered, focused on capturing genuine expressions and personalities in every image. And we have FUN!
Before picture day, families will receive clear pricing and package info you can share, including options for digital downloads and prints. Students will have the chance to take photos in a space that feels familiar, with encouragement rather than pressure. Talking with your child at home about picture day — letting them know it will be fun and relaxed — helps set them up for a positive experience.
After the session, families receive a private online gallery where they can select what they’d like to order, including the option to download digital files from individual and sibling sessions.

Talk with your child before school about picture day, so they know what to expect.
Let them know it will be fun, quick, and relaxed — no pressure to pose or smile a certain way.
Dress your child in something comfortable that feels like them.
Neutral tones or simple patterns photograph well. Please avoid neon/very bright colors or shirts with words, as they can reflect light and distract from faces.
Make sure hair is styled the way you’d like it photographed before arriving at school.
How to Prepare
All portraits are taken with natural light. Natural light is beautiful and not distracting for those sensitive to bright light or flash.
All students will have a minimum of three individual images to choose from, with many having more.
Families will be able to choose from print packages and digital downloads, including the option to download all images from individual and sibling sessions.
Print orders have a $30 minimum. This minimum applies only if you choose to purchase printed photographs. Digital-only purchases are not subject to a print minimum.
For families with more than one child photographed, individual and sibling images will be delivered in separate galleries.
