You know when you get invited to go to an event, you're hesitant because you don't know many people, but it turns out to be so fun and you leave with an amazing new friend? Well, that's what happened with me and Cass. She was hosting a rad Wellness Rookie "sweatworking" meet up in downtown Bozeman, so I attended, only knowing of and admiring her through Insta. Long story short, she noticed that I was a photographer and asked if we could set up a time to talk about me doing a shoot for her. Of course I said yes!

Photos of casual weekend adventures have turned in to amazing portrait sessions of some of the most badass humans and brands in Montana . 2017, you've been amazing so far and I'm excited to see what else you have in store.

I'm learning that for photoshoots, it's best to go with what feels natural and easy.  For Melinda and Bodhi, that meant hiking one of the most scenic trails in the Gallatin Forest, and I was so okay with it. :)

Even though I know NOTHING about bows or hunting, I had such a fun time photographing Kera and learning about the sport. It requires a LOT of work and dedication and I had no idea that pulling a bow back was such a workout. I only had her set up to shoot a million times...anything for the shot. :)
